GKT Sites - King's

King's College Hospital is in Denmark Hill, which is neither in Denmark nor on much of a hill, but in a corner of deepest Saaaf Laaandon, just down the road from Camberwell Green.

The main focus of student activity is in the Weston Education Centre - otherwise known as the WEC (crazy place, crazy name!). It's got a lot of mirrors on the outside, but don't let your own reflection put you off - walk right in through the sliding supermarket-style doors and you'll find a refectory that serves sumptuous edibles (in the sense that dog food is just edible) and manages to muster a bit of an outdoor bit (nice in the summer).

The library must be commended in that it's got loads of computers that work, calls itself a library and isn't full of idiots on mobiles (all endorsements hard to apply to the ISC in New Hunt's House, for all its charm).

There are teaching rooms and lecture theatres and other excitements in the WEC, too. If you're a medic you're certain to end up here for a while in your clinical years. But why wait till then? With such facilities, it's a must, especially during those rather nasty things known as exams.
