Aside from the regular events put on at Guy's Bar by MEDSOC and the Union. There are some events that even you would be a fool to miss out on. See the list on the right for details and check this site regularly for news. Sunday 14th After you have settled into your new digs come and join us in your soon to be second home for some relaxed Sunday night drinks.
We will provide you with loads of ways to get around and meet people just come along with something displaying your name. If you want to take it to the next level come the party wearing an item of clothing from each color of the Rubix Cube. During the party, exchange your clothing with your new found friends. Your goal will be to leave the party wearing only one of the colours, thereby solving the puzzle. Good Luck.
Whatever the weather, come down to Guy's in your beach gear and join us for an evening of burgers and cocktails followed by an authentic late night full moon party. We'll provide the glow sticks!
After a busy afternoon showing the sports teams what you're made of, we reckon its important you unwind and get to know your future team-mates properly. We'll be providing buses to help bring you back from the sports grounds, straight to a favorite party venue of ours, The Arches. Don't forget its important to drink plenty of fluids after exercising... Thursday 25th We'll give you a Tshirt, a map, tie you to 2 strangers and watch you stumble around Guy's campus to play various games in our regular haunts. Having Survived that, assembly will be called which will involve organized debauchery and mucky games presided over by the Principals! Monday Oct 20th Well this is your first opportunity to don your scrubs and pretend your a doctor. This is what we call a pan London event, all of our fellow London Medic/dentists/health students all go clubbing, we exchange some banter, occasionally bodily fluids and we dance the night away, not letting our darling compatriots forget that Ministry is on OUR turf and that "We'd Rather go to Guy's, Merry Merry Guy's". We've got the whole, yes the WHOLE of Ministry to dance around in so this is definitely not one to miss.
