The Clavicle Club

A great St. Thomas' tradition (strictly for men I'm afraid) whereby the gentlemen of the aforementioned Hospital 'stroll' around fifteen of the inns of south London striving to maintain their high standards of gentlemanly conduct.

Their journey pauses briefly at the ninth pub to observe a minute's silence for Professor Sykes, the founder of the club, who broke his clavicle when a bus moving with considerable speed hit him on the same 'stroll' many years ago. Takes place twice a year, spread around through word of mouth, just make sure you know the first two verses of Jerusalem, its a requirement!

The girlies tried to create their own club last year, the cervical, but it just wasn’t the same...
