The George - Borough High Street. An amazingly old pub, it was around in the days of Charles Dickens and is supposedly referred to in 'Little Dorritt'. A good place for an outdoor drink, meaning its often usen post exams, especially by the older years.
The Anchor - End-of-exams venue past Borough Market on the river. Pint in hand, good company, a sunny summer afternoon on the banks of the Thames - ah, heaven. Tom Cruise filmed Mission Impossible here.
Belushi's Borough High Street - Girls who like boys, who like girls, like Belushi's. Watch your bags girls. Also pikeyville. Always seems like a good idea at the time to go there.
The Grapes (St Christopher's Inn) - it's a great pub on Borough High Street with pool table, cheap beer and good food. Do 10% Student discount on drinks.
The Bunch of Grapes - is not to be confused with the other Grapes. Got it?
Miller of Mansfield - almost on campus too, opposite the Greenwood Theatre. The in house pizza hut is difficult to resist. Not bad little place, recently been done up.
Roebuck - opposite Great Dover Street apartments. Pretty good and cosy for chilling out if you want to get out of your appartment. A fine selection of port's, just ask the friendly bar staff.
Slug and Lettuce - reassuringly has no slugs or lettuces but the barman's a bit of a cabbage. On borough high street, you can't really miss it.
The Dover Castle - Great Dover Street, Always open late (2a.m.) a fine place for late night drinks when Guy's Bar is closed.
